Forging Strong Minds & Bodies
I started my martial arts journey in the in the early 1970s. Training was very different back then and I have to say it was those tough regimes that enabled me to build the strong foundations that influence my practice today.
To have strong foundations is absolutely paramount and to work with them requires a great deal of humility. To build a strong body first requires you to develop a strong mind. There is a constant need for the correct balance between mind and body.
I think that the more powerful our bodies become the greater need we have for spiritual integrity, only then can we be at one and at peace with the devastating ability we have honed. Our conscience must be clear in everything that we do and every decision that we make.
